Entry : Week 6

During the past week, we were able to conduct our first interview and test out some new sound equipment and cameras. The technical result may not have been ideal; it would have helped if we knew how to operate all of the equipment properly. Nevertheless, it became quite instructive for us. Setting up all the equipment not only taught us what we were not so

good at and what we should practice but also what we have to do to be ready for shoot situations. More importantly, learning more about our subject led to rethinking what we would do in our documentary. The documentary needed more clarity in terms of themes related to superstitions and how it contributes to worldview.
